LumiDISP - LDA ML7
Introducing a remarkable digital camera transformed into a luminance analyser. By adding powerful software and hardware extensions to a digital mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, we’ve created a tool for the precise measurement of photometric luminance. Use this ‚digital human eye‘ to conduct glare analysis, street lighting assessments, light pollution measurement, and much more.
Analyser details
Our Luminance Distribution Analyser comprises hardware and software components, backed by comprehensive support services, technical assistance, and our team's extensive expertise.
Analyser calibration
True photometric sensitivity matching the V(λ) curve, combined with precise calibration for linearity, vignetting, and position-size function, allows the data to be used for both practical and scientific applications.
Golden Amper 2019
At AMPER 2019, a total of 25 products from 24 companies competed for the 'Most Beneficial Exhibit' award. The winners were selected by an international panel of experts.

UNIQUE SYSTEM
Stay ahead of the competition
We utilize mass-produced, commercially available components, making our devices both affordable and more environmentally friendly than custom-built alternatives. Modern digital cameras deliver highly precise responses. By combining this technology with our NIST-traceable laboratory calibration and an optical filter to match the V(λ) curve, we achieve exceptional measurement accuracy. The device is very compact and allows easy operation in the field. The operation is not too different from a conventional camera and thanks to the software, many procedures can be prepared in advance. The aim is to perform measurements anywhere, anytime, as quickly as possible.
CUSTOMERS
Specific thing for specific people
“At UCL the luminance camera with LumiDISP software has proved to be an invaluable means for measuring luminance over a scene. The device is used by staff and many students to provide accurate measurements of luminance in their research projects. It works well in both in daylight and after dark conditions.”
